A recall of High Noon and Celsius products is underway after a dangerous labeling mix-up.

Individual cans of Celsius, a non-alcoholic energy drink, were accidentally filled with vodka seltzer and sold in the packaging of High Noon, a hard seltzer. The recall was posted by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on July 30.

Check to see if your recently purchased High Noon pack or Celsius can is part of the recall, and dispose of it to avoid unintentionally drinking alcohol.

The recall affects two lots of High Noon Beach Variety 12-Packs. The boxes, labeled as High Noon, do contain cans filled with vodka seltzer. However, the individual cans inside are labeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition.

The recalled products can be identified by the following information:

    High Noon Beach Variety Packs

    • Size: 12-pack of 12 fluid-ounce cans with silver lids
    • UPC: 085000040065
    • Lot Codes (found on the box): L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59, and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00
High Noon Beach 12-Pack Vodka Seltzer.

    • Size: 12 fluid-ounce cans with silver lids, instead of standard black lids
    • UPC: 8 89392 00134 1
    • Lot Codes (found on the bottom of the can): L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11

The recalled High Noon Beach Variety Packs were sent to distributors in eight states, then shipped to stores in the following states:

    • Florida
    • New York
    • Ohio
    • South Carolina
    • Virginia
    • Wisconsin

The recalled High Noon packs were shipped between July 21 and July 23, 2025.

The High Noon and Celsius products were recalled due to a labeling error.

According to the FDA, High Noon discovered that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to High Noon. The Celsius cans were filled with then vodka seltzer and put into 12-packs of High Noon.

Even though the outer packaging matches the product inside, the individual mislabeled Celsius cans could cause someone to drink alcohol unintentionally.

No illness or other negative health effects have been reported so far.

All Celsius customers are being advised to check their cans before drinking them, even if they didn’t purchase the High Noon Beach Variety Pack. If your Celsius is part of the recall, do not drink it and instead, throw it away.

If you have the recalled High Noon products, contact the brand’s consumer relations at [email protected] for a refund.
