    Apple

    AirPods Pro 2

The AirPods Pro 2 hardly need an introduction. They’ve got improved noise cancellation, clearer calls, and swipe volume control. They usually hover around this price—but catching them on sale is always a smart move.

    Apple

    iPad (11-inch, A16, 2025)

The 2025 iPad (11-inch) is the newest base model and the one to buy if you want a tablet to do tablet things—stream, browse, read, or FaceTime. It runs on Apple’s A16 chip (same as the iPhone 15 Plus) for smooth, reliable performance.

    Apple

    iPad Air (11-inch, M3, 2025)

The 2025 iPad Air, available in 11- or 13-inch sizes, runs on Apple’s M3 chip—making it a solid upgrade pick. It’s not a huge leap from 2024’s M2 model, but the extra power and bigger screen options make it a slightly better buy than the base iPad.

    Apple

    AirPods Max

The AirPods Max offer stellar sound, unbeatable noise cancellation, and a cushy fit that feels like first class for your ears. They’re so good, people have had them stolen mid-wear—stay sharp out there.

    Amazon

    Echo Show 8

Prime Day Headphone and Speaker Deals

    Bose

    QuietComfort Bluetooth Headphones

Bose’s most popular noise-cancelling headphones are quite possibly the best in the category, able to tune out plane noises, grunters at the gym, and the guy snoring next to you on the subway.

    JBL

    Tune 510BT

These bass-heavy headphones might lack noise-cancelling capabilities, but at this price, you can afford to be the person who doesn’t listen to TikToks on their phone’s speaker while riding the subway.

    Sonos

Sonos’ flagship bookshelf speaker is a great entry-point into the brand’s WiFi-connected speakers, offering premium sound quality and a sleek design.

    Soundcore

Select 4 Go Bluetooth Shower Speaker

With its IP67 rating, this portable speaker can handle quite a bit of wear and tear. Plus, it’s cheap as hell, and you can always cop another if you lose it.

    Bang & Olufsen

    SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker

For beach parties, backyard movies, or living room listening parties, this speaker from Bose can do it all.

    Bang & Olufsen

    Beoplay EX

50% off is a rare deal, and 50% off some of the highest-quality earbuds on the market is even rarer. These ones from B&O are designed for sound rather than for versatility, but they’re still rugged enough for a workout thanks to an IP57 waterproof rating.

    Shokz

    OpenRun Pro 2

A secure fit and the ability to let you hear your surroundings make these a great pair of headphones for runners who want to clock their miles and ensure they don’t get hit by a car.

    Sony

    WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones

The Sony XM4 headphones still hold up against the newer XM5s, offering top-tier noise cancellation, rich sound, and 30-hour battery life—for less. If you want flagship performance without the flagship price, start here.

The Wonderboom 4 packs big, punchy sound into a pint-sized, waterproof shell that floats. It’s dustproof, drop-proof, and built for park hangs, pool days, or wherever your summer takes you. Solid battery life, easy pairing, and surprisingly rich bass for something this small.

    Marshall

    Middleton Portable Bluetooth Speaker

The Marshall Middleton is hefty for a portable speaker—but that weight buys you booming, well-balanced sound and the brand’s signature stage-ready looks. If you want your speaker to double as decor, this one delivers.

    Beats

    Studio Buds +

The famous transparent Beats buds are always a hot-ticket item during Prime Day, and until Apple releases AirPods in a color other than white, we’re going to keep recommending them. Like a 90s kid and a transparent landline phone, we just can’t quit these.

    Bose

SoundLink Revolve+ Series II Bluetooth Speaker

Released in 2021, the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ Series II delivers deep, room-filling 360° sound in a sleek, grab-and-go design. It’s water-resistant, lasts 17 hours, and remains a top pick for die-hard Bose fans.

Amazon Prime Day Tech Deals FAQ

What are the best tech brands on Amazon?

You can buy products from almost every tech brand on Amazon, with a couple of exceptions (more on that shortly). Obviously, Amazon’s own brands are usually in stock—eero, Echo, Fire TV, Kindle, Ring, etc. You can also find the latest products from Apple, Dyson, Samsung, Beats, Bose, Sonos, Sony, Master & Dynamic, Lenovo, Google Nest, Meta, Fitbit, Therabody, and Microsoft, for starters. However, Amazon does have a limited selection of most non-Apple laptops, so if you’re shopping for Windows laptops from brands like HP, Dell, Asus, and Acer, you’ll have better luck elsewhere.

Finally, before buying electronics on Amazon, check to see if the products are sold and shipped by Amazon itself, the brand, or an unknown third-party seller (tip: search the product page for “ships by” and “sold by”). Whenever possible, avoid third-party sellers.

Prime Day 2025 takes place on Tuesday, July 8 and goes through Friday, July 11. Just like in years past, the sale will end on the last day at the strike of midnight, meaning 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday.

Do Prime Day deals change each day?

Yep, Prime Day deals definitely change each day, and sometimes even by the hour. Amazon rotates in new discounts each day across all categories (tech, clothing, home, you name it), so what’s here today might be gone tomorrow. Some deals only last 24 hours, and others sell out with a quickness. If you see something you like, it’s probably smart to grab it before it’s gone.

Are things actually cheaper on Prime Day?

A lot of things are cheaper on Prime Day—some at their lowest price all year, and a few at their lowest ever. But not every deal’s a no-brainer. Some discounts are minor, and occasionally, something was cheaper earlier in the year. To double-check, try CamelCamelCamel. It’s a price-tracking site that shows an item’s full Amazon price history, so you can see if today’s deal is actually a deal—or just looks like one.

Do I need a membership to shop Prime Day?

Yes, Amazon created Prime Day as an exclusive sale for Prime members; however, some discounts will be available to all shoppers. That being said, only Prime members will have access to exclusive deals, invite-only deals, and benefits like free shipping and returns. Amazon does offer a 30-day free trial and discounts for students, so new members can usually sign up at no cost before the sale begins.
