We will preview every player on the Cardinals roster leading up to training camp. This is about WR Simi Fehoko.

The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.

Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2024, questions they face and their roster outlook.

This focuses on receiver Simi Fehoko.

    Simi Fehoko background, 2024 season

Fehoko enters his fifth NFL season and his first with the Cardinals. He was drafted in the third round in 2021 by the Dallas Cowboys and spent two seasons there. He played the last two seasons for the LA Chargers. In his career, he has played in 24 games, catching 10 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown.

Last season, he played in eight games, starting twice, and had six receptions for 106 yards. He played 211 offensive snaps and 81 on special teams. He missed the final nine games with an elbow injury that sent him to injured reserve.

Simi Fehoko 2025 contract details, cap hit

He signed a one-year, $1.75 million contract as a free agent this offseason. He was paid a $250,000 signing bonus and will make $1.17 million in salary, $1 million of which is guaranteed. He can earn up to $255,000 in per-game roster bonuses and had a $75,000 workout bonus. He will count $1.615 million against the cap and, if he plays in more than eight games, the additional money he earns in the per-game roster bonuses, will count against the 2026 cap.

    Questions he faces, roster outlook

Fehoko must stay healthy and prove that he can increase his role. He has size (6-foot-4) and speed. Can he either carve out a role on special teams or on offense?

His guarantees suggest the team plans on him making the roster, but he should be considered on the roster bubble with a slightly higher likelihood of making the team as opposed to not.
