Wimbledon is the third tournament on the Grand Slam tennis circuit every year, taking place after the Australian Open and French Open but before the US Open. First held in 1877, Wimbledon takes place annually at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.

In the 2024 women’s final, Barbora Krejcikova defeated Jasmine Paolini to take home her first Wimbledon title and second Grand Slam title. Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic in the 2024 men’s final.

Tennis greats such as Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova have won the prestigious tournament more than once. Federer leads the all-time men’s field with eight victories, while Navratilova is at the front of the women’s field with nine titles.

This year’s event runs from June 30 through July 13. In the men’s singles semifinals, Alcaraz will face off against Taylor Fritz, while Djokovic will take on Jannik Sinner. In the women’s singles semifinals, Aryna Sabalenka will take on Amanda Anisimova, while Belinda Bencic will face off against Iga Swiatek. Fans can tune in to the tournament on ESPN.
