Depending on your sense of national pride, the 4th of July can be a lot, and not always in a good way. The 4th of July clothing sales, though? Those, my fellow flustered Americans, are consistently cause for celebration. Sure, personal feelings on the holiday may vary, but the menswear deals it engenders every summer are a fairly sure-fire delight. And ahead of the formal celebrations this weekend, they’re already out in full force.
Just in the nick of time, too. Whatever grace the weather was displaying over the first half of June has officially given way to typical summer drudgery—it’s hot, it’s humid, and we’re sick of hearing people complain about it. So, uh, don’t. Instead, turn your attention to all the swelter-weather gear available for a pittance right now, courtesy of the trusty mall-brand mainstays, the bleeding-edge independents, and the multi-brand e-comm behemoths otherwise loath to discount their wares. What’s a holiday weekend without a massive Abercrombie sale? SSENSE isn’t necessarily celebrating the 4th, but that doesn’t mean their sale isn’t very much active and thriving over the weekend, with discounts pushing that 70% range. If you’ve been on the fence about something and it’s still around, you might not get another crack at it.
