The Georgia Bulldogs landed five-star quarterback Jared Curtis from Nashville, Tennessee for their 2026 recruiting class. For 2027, the Bulldogs may find a signal-caller even closer to home.
It’s still early in the recruitment of 2027 four-star quarterback Teddy Jarrard. But the latest projection from On3 has the Bulldogs the favorite to land the Kennesaw, Georgia native.
“Jarrard doesn’t have an order of his favorites right now, but Georgia is among his contenders. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favors Georgia at the moment,” wrote On3’s Jeremy Johnson.
“The Bulldogs have a 24.4 percent chance of landing the four-star signal caller at the moment.”
Johnson wrote Georgia made Jarrard an offer on May 18. The quarterback visited Athens, Georgia again after that for a camp on June 1.
The quarterback told Johnson he will begin to narrow down his list of top schools after making a few more trips this summer.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, there are several potential suitors for Johnson, including the Virginia Tech Hokies, Ohio State Buckeyes, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Penn State Nittany Lions and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Jarrard is the No. 17 signal-caller and No. 28 Georgia prospect in the 2027 recruiting class based on the 247Sports Composite rankings. Across the entire country, he is the No. 217 overall recruit according to the composite rankings.
The Bulldogs have landed one commitment from a 2027 prospect. That came from three-star wide receiver Gavin Honore.
The wideout from Santa Ana, California committed to Georgia on June 2.
