The Odell Beckham Jr. experiment didn’t pan out in Miami Gardens.
Beckham caught just nine passes for 55 yards in nine games played last season with the Dolphins. The three-time Pro Bowler signed with Miami in May of 2024 on a one-year, $3 million deal. But, Beckham was waived in December of last season by the Dolphins after his addition and contributions simply failed to click.
The 32-year-old is still a free agent, but Beckham might have tipped his hand on his preferred landing spot. During a live panel from over the weekend at Fanatics Fest in New York City, a fan yelled out, “Go back to the Giants!”
OBJ responded with three simple words.
After that weekend exchange in NYC, Beckham added more fuel to the idea that a Giants reunion could be in store by posting pictures of he and his son outside MetLife Stadium.
Current Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers commented and endorsed the idea of OBJ returning to NYC.
“We still got work to do,” Nabers replied.
Nabers reeled in 109 grabs for 1,204 yards and seven scores during his rookie campaign with the Giants in 2024. Like OBJ, Nabers is an LSU alum.
Naturally, Nabers would love the opportunity to pair up with a fellow Tiger and with one of the all-time great Giants.
CBS featured the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers among the best NFL fits for Beckham heading into the 2025 season.
