    • Uba Sani lauds Tinubu’s leadership style

    From Noah Ebije, Kaduna

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday asked other state governors to emulate the Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, in project execution and implementation, describing him as an agent of change, stability, love, and progress.

President Tinubu stated this shortly after commissioning some projects in the state under the administration of Governor Uba Sani.

Earlier, Governor Sani lauded President Tinubu’s leadership style, describing him as a leader grounded in empathy and vision.

According to Tinubu, “I have gone round; what you have been doing as the governor of Kaduna State is laudable for this country, and I want to remind all our governors that the skills development centre that we jointly commissioned today is an attribute sub-nationals should follow. Whatever we need to do together, we will do it. We will soon launch a comprehensive agenda on that as well as raise hope agenda for our food sovereignty.

“Today, I have seen an example of a people-oriented commitment development agenda in the governor, who has established not only a critical sector to change and develop the minds of our youths leaving schools but also provided them with skills and opportunities to excel.

“We have seen Governor Uba Sani, an agent of change, stability, love, unity, and progress. Uba Sani has performed wonders and challenged the environment from a toxic, uncontrollable environment to a state of life, progress, and development. I say thank you, my comrade.

“I am pleased to be back here in Kaduna State. I share a very long-standing and meaningful connection throughout my journey in life in politics, business, and the pursuit of democracy and fundamental rights.

“I had the privilege of working alongside Kaduna’s many distinguished sons and daughters. Today, many of you are present here; many of you are not here. Let me use this opportunity to correct an omission.

“Some of those people that I missed out during the June 12 broadcast at the National Assembly is Colonel Dangiwa Umar (rtd).

“Today, let me correct that by honouring him with national recognition of CFR (Commander of the Federal Republic). Shehu Sani, who is also a comrade for all you have done for democracy in this country, may God bless you while you deserve the CON (Commander of the Niger).

“Senator Uba Sani, the great people of Kaduna love you, and that extends to our commitment to democracy, justice, and dignity of life. You are a good leader, and I am very happy we have to work with you.

“I think I am a lucky person. I am overwhelmed by the warm reception by the government and the people of Kaduna State. I am particularly impressed with the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in this state. I remember when I came for campaigns, we had to go to Birnin Gwari with a battalion of security.

“I have it on good authority that you can move to Birnin Gwari today around midnight without fear of attack. Peace is the hallmark of development; that is why you are able to channel a system that is yielding results. Thank you, governor, for the good job you are doing.

“I am proud to say that Kaduna is rising again, and we will work with you. For this, in every aspect of your development agenda, we will do our best to ensure we achieve the vision of progress, prosperity. Don’t forget the fact that the light rail project is there in our focus; we are going to do it, and we will do it together,” Tinubu said.

In his remarks, Governor Uba Sani extolled the leadership virtues of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a leader grounded in empathy and vision. Sani made the remarks during a grand reception in honour of the President on Thursday in Kaduna.

The governor welcomed President Tinubu to Kaduna State, commending him for commissioning projects in the state.

According to Sani, the President’s presence in Kaduna was a testament to his commitment to transforming the lives of Nigerians.

Sani noted that the President’s leadership style has the potential to change destinies, adding that his visit to Kaduna State was more than just a ceremony but a demonstration of his dedication to the nation’s progress.

The governor expressed gratitude to the President for honouring Kaduna State with his presence, saying it was a boost to the state’s morale.

The grand reception, which was held at Murtala Square in Kaduna, was attended by prominent government officials, traditional leaders, and other dignitaries. The event was a celebration of the President’s leadership and vision for Nigeria.

President Tinubu’s visit to Kaduna State is seen as a significant development in the state’s history, with many residents expressing hope that his leadership will bring about positive change in the state and the country at large.

The President’s commissioning of projects in Kaduna State is expected to boost the state’s economy and improve the lives of its residents. The projects, which were commissioned earlier in the day, are part of the government’s efforts to improve infrastructure and provide essential services to the people.

Political observers noted that the warm reception accorded to President Tinubu by the people of Kaduna State is a testament to his growing popularity and the trust that Nigerians have in his leadership.

“As the President continues to work towards transforming the lives of Nigerians, his visit to Kaduna State will be remembered as a significant milestone in his administration’s efforts to build a better future for the country.”

The projects commissioned by President Tinubu included the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samarun Kataf; the 300-bed hospital; the 24 km Kafanchan Township Road; the Tudun Biri Road; the 22 km road linking Kauru and Kubau Local Government Areas (LGAs); the Vocational and Skills Training Centre in Tudun Biri; and 100 CNG buses, among other various legacy projects executed by Governor Uba Sani.

The event was attended by governors of Kwara, Edo, Jigawa, Ogun, Kebbi, Ekiti, Imo, Lagos, the Sokoto Deputy Governor, traditional rulers, among others.
