Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Prachi Shah Is ‘Excited’, Shares ‘We Meet Every Year, Have WhatsApp Group’ | Exclusive
Prachi Shah Pandya’s Exclusive Interview
When asked about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the actress confirmed that the buzz is real but she is still waiting on the call. “I have not received THE call as of yet but am pretty sure it would happen. Let’s see what the story is going to be now, are all the characters returning, the whole cast is returning then why not. I will be so happy reuniting with the Kyunki family, and the story too am sure will be something great, as Ekta writes what she writes and its a hit.”
Recalling being a part of the show back in the 2000s, Prachi shared how the cast was more of a family. She said, “We are talking almost twenty-five years. So it was one of my first shows which got me immense popularity, and many beautiful memories shooting with the cast. I think the biggest thing is, there was no social media, there were no phones. Also, the best part of it was that all our female actors, we used to share one huge makeup room. It was a very small makeup room, we had a slightly bigger room later. And I still remember it was in the basement of the main building where we used to shoot, the Balaji’s office.”

Further, she added, “We were almost about eight or nine of us ladies in the show and depending on the scenes we used to get our makeups done. Mostly family-oriented scenes were there, some festival or celebration was going on every other day and we used to all get ready together, no separate vanities and all.”
“I think that is the most cherished because we used to be on set working together, but other than that, we used to hang out together, laugh together, eat together, share our personal lives together. In fact, we still have a WhatsApp group, 1 separate group for all females and a separate group that is both male and female. We still meet on the third of July, which was the first day of telecast, every single year, the group still meets for dinner every third of July.”
