Speaking exclusively to Zoom, Suparn said, “Where we were 20 years ago to where we are now, it is a broad sea change. At the end of the day, none of us wants to do anything controversial for the sake of it. We are serving in the service of art including Rana Naidu. It is done in the service of art.”
The director continued to add, “The fact is that every country has rules you abide by. Whatever you want to say, you can happily say it. There are ways and means around it. As creative people, it’s our job and that’s part of the charm. It is a part of the challenge. So, we abide by that as simple as that.”

Helmed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Rana Naidu’s season two has a new addition to the star cast, which is Arjun Rampal. His character is expected to add more complexity to the storyline.
